Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for playing the lead role in TV shows such as "The West Wing, 'In Plain Sight,' as well as Loaded.' In addition to her film roles which include "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack was the daughter of the owner of an ice cream shop and a clinical psychologist. The McCormack family does not have any connections to the entertainment industry. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation from her parents around the year 1990 then went on to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, eventually graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in comparative art. The career of the actress started at the age of 12, when she appeared in a stage version of an opera for Christmas titled "Amahl and the Night Visitor'. In the theater, the actress performed for years and her roles eventually made it onto the screen. McCormack has become one of Hollywood's most versatile actors. McCormack is married producer and director Michael Morris and has three children.
