Hallie Jackson

Hallie J. Jackson is an American journalist as well as a political analyst. She is currently the main NBC News correspondent for the White House and an anchor on a few news shows for NBC cable. She was raised in Pennsylvania and graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from John Hopkins University. After working at various TV stations across Maryland, Delaware and Connecticut (affiliated with CBS), Jackson moved to 'Hearst Corporation,' reporting from Washington DC on all of their stations. In the following year, she joined "NBC News" (in 2014) after which, for a time, worked for the 'NBC' station in Los Angeles. Her exceptional reporting of campaigning periods, including the Presidential election of 2016, made her known as an devoted political correspondent. She's an extremely versatile and dedicated journalist. Some of her major assignments have included coverage for the Presidential campaign of Senator Ted Cruz and exclusive interviews with important 'GOP' candidates.
