Country-pop and actor song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the crew of One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a brand new country music artist. This helped her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. The follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The singer ended the decade with appearances for Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside a series of non-album singles. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to the country genre, and eventually went on to explore a career in recording. However, she made her acting debut as an teen in the 2002 indie horror movie Dead/Undead. In the past, she appeared on several shows, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the regular role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the second season (2007-2008). Kramer appeared on 90210 in 2008-2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. In 2009, she played the role of Alex Dupre. The show lasted show until the end of 2012 when the show ended. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Give Up. It was later featured on her debut album Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Her focus was on her musical career afterward, she did not stop acting. she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. It received a boost from Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. She also scored an adult contemporary smash in the form of Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
